Helping to Pass Peacefully with Reiki!

Posted on 5 October, 2013 at 9:09 Comments comments (5)
A friend, Neighbor and Client passed peacefully from Cancer, with the help of Reiki.
He had been battling this horrible disease all year, and we had been giving him Reiki treatments weekly, then last few weeks daily.
Even in the Hospital apparently the staff had said, the room smelt lovely, we use essential oils also with treatment.
I'm  waiting for the day when society as a whole will see and know the  benefits of Reiki. It helps with pain, stress and relaxing patient.

Reiki Healing for your PetsAnimals.

Thought I would  put a Blog up on Benefits  Reiki can do  for your Pets.

Animals have ill health as well as humans, especially older ones. They can have pain from Arthritis, stiffness, depression or allergies ect
.It can sooth and calm them when they've had a move, or transition of any will help by comforting  and relieving them of stress and pain.
Help after surgery or a trauma of any kind.
Animals get just as stressed as humans, especially ones in Shelters.
Reiki works in as much as releases blockages, which then allows the flow of energy healing throughout the body, so that the body can then store more of the good healing energy.

My own dogs receive Reiki from myself and daughter, and certainly seem happier dogs for it.

Yesterday was a good day, weather not to hot as we had a walk to do!
We were walking for our Client, Marching for Mario Team!
We have been giving Reiki Sessions since January, and it was great to see how our Client has progressed in that time, his Chemo and Spirit and with our help I hope! got him to yesterday and this walk.
We were all dressed in Purple  and with other teams it was a lively group on the Riverwalk.
The Mayor was there also and was a great motivator  and a TV Presenter friend was Emcee.
So an enjoyable time was had by all!

Buddhist Temple Visit!

Posted on 15 April, 2013 at 12:41 Comments comments (6)
Well all had a few weeks break!

My daughter and I went to see a Buddhist Temple in Chicago this week, for her College class. Needless to say I have wanted to go to one for a long time. So I asked her to let me go with her!
It was an interesting place, the ride down was Slow! and then we had to find the Temple, in one of the less than salubrious area's, but hey we survived it! even saw a huge lizard in someone's window staring at us.
There are 4 main lineages in Tibetan Buddhism.
This particular one is under  His Holiness 17th Gyalwang Karmapa  Ogyen Trinley Dorje.
This meditation center was in a plain looking building, the actual meditation room was upstairs.
The Teacher (Lama)  there told us the history, did a short meditation, pointed out all the Buddha's. I rather liked the Green Tara Buddha, for compassion. a woman, so of course I liked that one, as alot of the Buddha's are men, I'm all for equality!
Felt very calm after wards. and an enjoyable time.
Meditation is similar to what we do before we do a Reiki session.

Chakra's and Essential Oils

Posted on 19 March, 2013 at 15:41 Comments comments (108)
What are Chakra's?

There are 7 Major Chakra's in our body from the lower spine to crown, and each Chakra radiates energy to different organs of the body. If they get blocked or out of sync, then this can lead to feeling ill or out of salts.
So there will be a need to re-balance the Chakras.
Thats where Reiki comes in to help address this.

All of this is my opinion and you should seek Medical Advice for any ill health issues.
Reiki is  complementary to help with relaxation, de-stressing and pain relief.

Essential Oils.

We can use essential oils with the Reiki Session. There are lots of different oils for each Chakra.
We do not put oil directly onto your skin, we rub a small amount onto our hands, and you will breathe these in.
There are some for immune system, energy, relaxation, ect.

        1)   Root   - Red - (Spine/Glandular) - oil - Patchouli, Cypress.

                 2)   Sacral - Orange - (Ovaries/Testes) - oil - Sandalwood, Jasmine

3)   Solar Plexus -Yellow - (Adrenals) - oil - Ginger, Sage

                               4)   Heart - Green - (Thymus) - oil - Rose, Cedarwood

5)   Throat - Blue - (Thyroid) - oil - Lavender, Patchouli

                             6)    3rd eye/brow - D.Violet -  (Pituitary) - oil - Frankincense, Geranium

              7)    Crown -Clear - (Pineal Gland) - oil - Ylang,ylang, Jasmine.

The oils I have mentioned are not all that can be used for each Chakra, but these are ones I have used to help with balancing your energy centres of the body.
